My name is Justin and I want the Monopoly SpongeBob SquarePants game. It has a real jailhouse. When you land on the jail house you have to go to jail.

I like the pieces. They look like the real characters on the SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon.

The other funny thing is that Mr. Krabs is on the money. This Monopoly SpongeBob SquarePants game looks really fun. You will like it.

This is Justin and the thing is that I like that the I-DOG is like speakers for my Apple iPod Shuffle. I like music like Rock, Jazz and Hip Hop and the I-DOG will dance to the music that you play and if you touch his nose he will light up.

When you are on a trip somewhere you can bring your iPod and I-DOG. There are four different designs. I like the one with the Blue Dragon the best. He can tap his foot and he wiggles his head and he wiggles his ears and you can plug in your iPod into your I-DOG and share with your friends and this is why you should buy it for your kids.

So it’s been over a month since the release of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, however the excitement spawned by the plethora of series related products has not been dulled around our house.

Justin recently went on line and discovered the Indiana Jones Lego Adventure game for the Nintendo Wii. He’s very excited by the fact that you can “unlock 30 new characters” and that “you can use your whip for anything”.

The boys have enjoyed playing Lego Star Wars for years and when they realized that there is now a similar game available depicting the Raiders storyline, well needless to say the plans for acquiring it have been quite expansive and creative.

Justin wants everyone to understand that while Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures looks and plays a lot like Lego Star Wars but it’s different because “there are no blasters - just a whip”.

Price: $50 for the Nintendo Wii version, the Xbox 360 version, PS3 version, $40 for the PS2 Version, and the Sony PSP version, and $30 for the Nintendo DS version

The reason I got this first instead of the bigger gun my dad posted about is because it is really easy to carry and it has an extra clip so in an Air Soft war with my friends, when I run out of ammo you can put the second one in and you don’t take so long loading.

Mom also got me and Justin a jar of 5000 BBs. But we still have to pick up as many as we can to use over and over.

This Spiderman rod and reel from Zebco is a perfect tool for any aspiring fisherman. The three year-old and I hit the lake this weekend after getting this rod in the mail from Amazon this week.

It’s a pretty simple spincast reel with a good little rod, that’s perfectly sized for him… it’s only about three feet long total. And it comes with a practice fishing plug for casting practice that I really liked.

After we arrived at the lake, I spent a few minutes tying a hook to his line, with a little weight on it, and then I let him pick out his first worm. I put it on, helped him cast, and then let him reel it in.

I would cast for him, let him reel it in, and then I’d cast again.

After he got tired of fishing, I put the casting plug on the line, and let him practice casting while I fished for another 30 minutes or so.

All-in-all, we had a blast fishing together, and he now has his very own Spiderman fishing rod that he can tell all his friends about.

The Indiana Jones Chinese Yo Yo and Paper Hat.

There was hardly a moment all weekend that my young Indy wasn’t creeping through tunnels (behind the couch), bounding over pits of flowing lava (from bed to bed) or battling tretchorous comrades (his older brother) with his trademark fedora, elastically strapped to his head and trusty “whip” by his side.  

It’s incredible how much fun he had whipping the Chinese Yo Yo at the floor, the ceiling, the dog… anything and everything in the house was transformed into an artifact, villain or tribesman worthy of the sting from Indy’s whip.  

These paper toys couldn’t be less expensive and since each come in a pack of four you’ll be sure to have extras on hand when your young Indy decides to suit up for his fourth (and final?) installment.

According to Tyler, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is absolutely the best Rock and Roll video game every created. He and his brother never seem to tire of it.

This week, the boy’s Nana brought along this Badminton Set when she came to visit from Louisiana. It’s been great watching everyone outside enjoying the gorgeous weather and playing this simple but fun backyard game.
