I actually had another mom recommend this book to me. Her son loves it! It’s a big hit with the fourth grade age group, although I’m sure younger kids would like it, too.

These are the only books Tyler will read willingly other than Calvin and Hobbes and other animated stuff.

Check out the first two books too. They’re written in an easy to read font, the story is engaging and there are small cartoons throughout the book (a huge hit with my son).

If you have a child who is picky about what they read, this book would be a good bet.

Lovely Mommy just picked up these four hilarious adventures of Captain Underpants in one glow-in-the-dark, tra-la-laaaaa-rific collection for the boys.  Our oldest has been reading the more recent books of the series for a while now and with more than 35 million copies in print, it’s easy to see why the Captain Underpants books are one of the best selling series of the decade.
