LEGO Mindstorms NXT robots are the stuff. They challenge kids (and adults) in a way few ‘toys’ can.
The robots are programmable and you and your child can build them from the ground up. You can build it in the shape of a robot, scorpion, crab…use your imagination. Then you can program it to perform a series of actions.
There is a USB connection on the body of the robot where you connect to your home computer to load your programs.
It’s a fun way to encourage your child’s imagination through building and programming. They’ll also be working on their writing and sequencing skills when they’re figuring out how to get the robot to do what they want. Definitely something parents and kids alike will enjoy.
